We produce a monthly newsletter that gives updates on our current happenings, covers needs we have, and shares stories from the clinic. If you would like to receive this newsletter, please click here. If not, please let me know of another way that we could accomplish the same thing.)

Baby Bottle Fundraisers

1st Way would love to partner with your organization to host a Baby Bottle Drive. These drives are one of our best ways to raise funds for the clinic. Funds raised through these drives will help support the programs and services that give women and teens the opportunity to choose life for their babies.

Volunteer Information

1st Way has several opportunities for those interested in getting involved. The more help we have, the more help we can provide to women in need.

Volunteering at the center:

• Counselor: Provides compassionate counsel to clients. Performs pregnancy tests, provides information and referrals (training is provided by 1st Way).
• Receptionist: Welcomes clients, locates files and assists clients with intake forms, answers phone, and assists Office Administrator with office various operations.
• Clothing Room: Sorts donated clothing, makes layettes and packages items for distribution to clients as needed.
• Upkeep/ Maintenance: Helping with yard work, repairs, housekeeping, and odd jobs.

Volunteering outside the center:

• Fundraising: Helping with fundraisers which may include rose sales, baby showers, baby-bottle drives, banquets, grant inquiries, and any other fundraisers.
• Public Relations: Making contacts to set up speaking engagements or displays, speaking or representing 1st Way to various groups.
• Collecting Donations: Picking up baby and maternity items from churches, schools, individuals, and resale used clothing stores.
• Sewing/Knitting: Making blankets, quilts, and baby clothes for newborns.
• Newsletter: Assistance with developing our monthly newsletter.
• Prayer Support: Faithfully praying for 1st Way that God would send us more strength, more patience, more love, more resources, and more people! Also praying for our clients.
• Financial Support: Becoming a 1st Way sponsor helping with our monthly financial needs.
